This is the most basic rigging of the spinnaker halyard.  The halyard is cut from 1/4″ Marlow prestretch and is 40′ in length.  It is attached to the brass ring at the shroud on one side, runs up and through the halyard block on the mast, and then returns down the other side to end at the brass ring on that side.  When the spinnaker is up the halyard is cleated on the wooden or black aluminum horn cleats on the side of the stanchion or with micro cam cleats located on the vertical part of the forward cockpit coaming.  For additional halyard options see the links below.
