"Our aim, as always, is to build the best."

-Sandy Douglass

Sandy made our motto in 1957 and we build the same quality boat that we did back then. We've never cut corners here at Flying Scot Inc, and we never will. Our boats are sound and hold up against the toughest conditions. Our customers have always written us the best sailboat reviews because of our quality and customer service. The Flying Scot family does not refer to just us here at the factory. It's a Flying Scot Nation, our roots are deep, and our customers are like family. There is simply no better class, but don't take our word for it, see what our other customers say below.

A sailor’s boatbuilder

I’ve been sailing since I was 3 years old when my father took me sailing aboard a boat he built himself when my mother was pregnant with me. And I’ve loved it from the start. But when I bought my very used Flying Scot I fell in love with sailing all over again. Thankfully I bought a boat that was still being built new because I could not have restored my boat without the help of the fantastic and friendly people at Flying Scot Inc. The knowledge and know-how of the builder made my job much easier. Plus, it gave me tremendous confidence to know that I was just a phone call away from solving any challenge. And now that I’ve restored a Scot, I’m building my next one in my imagination and have a goal to place an order for a new, made-to-order, Flying Scot on my sixtieth birthday. Thank you to everyone at Flying Scot Inc. for your help and support.

Wow! What a great boat! I owned one for ten years and my life situation changed so that I couldn't keep her. Amazing. I will have another.

Great for families, friends, solo ghosting (my favorite) and stormy crashing (in warm weather). Reliable and seaworthy, as in Sea worthy. Motors along on a 4 horse that I store under the stern out of the way. Trailering to Canada. Boston Harbor. Cape Cod bay; everywhere.

I need more. Once you have one, you'll never want to be without.
