The North AP mainsail for the Flying Scot has a slightly flatter lower luff area to reduce backwind in light to medium winds. The upper sections set a bit deeper in windier conditions than the RHC main, which adds power and can add to pointing ability in some conditions with a heavy crew.

The sail includes the vision and small jib batten windows, battens, and sail numbers with insignia. The price includes the Flying Scot Sailing Association royalty.
