This halyard is the 1/16″ wire with the nico loop installed in one end only. If you have the Wichard halyard shackle you can reuse the shackle off of an older halyard by driving the secondary pin out with a skinny nail or pin.  It can then be installed on this new halyard and the secondary pin driven back in.
