This is the turnbuckle assembly that pairs with the 1/8″ forestay extension.  The forked fitting attaches to the toggle underneath the bow and the forestay extension threads into the threaded barrel.  A safety wire is provided to prevent the forestay extension from accidentally unscrewing over time.  We recommend a minimum of 4-5 threads for safety.
