The mast hinge pin assembly is the entire fitting needed to retrofit an older boat that does not have the hinge pin or to replace a damaged assembly.  The base mounts onto the deck and then the hinge pin slides into the butt of the mast.  The assembly includes the screws needed to attach the base to the deck.
