These Selden Tapered Spinnaker Pole End Fittings work great as long as you do not try to lubricate them. The composite material swells when Mclube or similar lubrication is applied, causing the pole end fitting to stick. The solution is to take them apart and sand the grooves wider, or order a new one here. Either way the rivets need to be drilled out and re-applied.
