The 3/8 X 15′ twisted nylon line with a spliced loop at one end is perfect for a bow tie-up line. You do not have to tie a knot, just put the spliced loop through the bow eye and the line through the loop. This comes off easy or it can simply lay on the foredeck and run back into the cockpit without detaching.
