Description
5/32 with aircraft swages – fork at top and eye at bottom – made to be 1/2″ shorter than original shroud for more mast rake. This style of Flying Scot Shroud is named for the Florida fleets that initially developed them. The standard shroud works fine too. While the Florida shrouds have a strong swedge, the shroud is locked in, which can cause problems if not installed correctly. The standard shroud is floating, which eliminates the risk of installing with stored energy. The standard shroud is linked to below, either style is fine, although you do need to have matching shrouds.
